The largest manufacturer of industrial steel work platforms/mezzanines, vertical lifts, and safety guarding products in North America celebrates with an open house gala at its U.S. headquarters.

Material handling equipment manufacturer Wildeck, Inc. (Waukesha, WI) welcomed the Honorable Jeff Scrima, the mayor of Waukesha, at a gala 35th Anniversary Open House in June at the company’s U.S. headquarters and manufacturing operations in Waukesha. The event inaugurated a year-long celebration of this major company milestone.

Wildeck is a member of the MHIA (Material Handling Industry of America) and is the largest manufacturer of industrial steel work platforms/mezzanines, vertical lifts, and safety guarding products in North America. “We are extremely proud of our growth and the success we have enjoyed as a leading manufacturer here in Waukesha for some 35 years,” said Wildeck president Keith G. Pignolet. “In 1976, as a division of Williams Steel, the company had only four employees. Today, we have nearly 100 employees and have evolved to become a premier U.S. manufacturer of steel fabricated products that are used for the safe and efficient storage and handling of goods in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing operations and many other facilities.”

The company designs and manufactures standard and custom industrial steel work platforms (mezzanines), material lifts (VRCs), and performance-proven safety guarding products that are sold through a dedicated and experienced network of customer-service-oriented dealers and systems integrators nationwide. According to Hubert Schlegel, the director of marketing, “No other company designs and manufacturers such a comprehensive variety of products for industrial and commercial material handling applications. Through the efforts of our dedicated team of employee owners, we remain committed to helping customers improve their supply chain operations – making them safer, more efficient, and more profitable. It’s what we do.”

The Open House ran from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and included facility tours, food, family events and attendance prizes. Mayor Scrima discussed economic growth in Waukesha and the contributions that companies like Wildeck are making to its continuing vitality and growth. www.wildeck.com
