Efficient Removal of Tough Mill Scale
Weiler Abrasives’ (Cresco, PA) Tiger Mill Scale wheel is an abrasive product designed to quickly and efficiently remove mill scale from hot-rolled carbon steel. The addition to the Tiger portfolio provides a targeted solution for industries such as shipbuilding and metal fabrication where heavy mill scale removal is critical for weld preparation.
The wheels feature a circular studded design to aggressively cut through thick scale and prevent loading or glazing. The type 29 curved shape increases the contact area of the wheel, maximizing material removal rates, improving operator comfort and deterring gouging. In addition, the Tiger 2.0 bond formulation provides long wheel life while the zirconia alumina grains deliver a high cut rate for the entire life of the wheel. The Tiger Mill Scale wheel is available with a 5/8-11 quick connect hub in 4-1/2”, 5” and 6” diameters.

Burnishing Machine Delivers High-performance Surface Conditioning
The Metabo HPT’s ( SE 17‑200 RT Burnishing Machine is a variable-speed surface conditioning tool made in Germany for high-performance grinding, satin finishing, brushing, and high-gloss polishing—especially on stainless steel.
Powered by a 14.5 amp LongLife motor with a high‑torque planetary gear train, it delivers up to 3,000 rpm with consistent power under load.
