Wauseon Machine Receives Awards
They receive the Global Distinction Award and the Application Award from FANUC.
The Global Distinction Award is for outstanding partnership, and the Application Award is for robotic integration work that has been completed. Wauseon Machine was the only North American integrator to receive this prestigious award.
Eric Patty, the director and past president from Wauseon Machine and Manufacturing (WMM; Wauseon, OH) recently attended FANUC’s second biennial Global Awards Banquet in Tokyo, Japan, where he represented WMM as one of four Authorized System Integrators in attendance from the United States and received two awards:
- The Global Distinction Award for demonstrating outstanding partnership with FANUC. Over the last 20 years, they has been an exclusive FANUC Authorized System Integrator, using only FANUC equipment to improve manufacturing processes.
- The Application Award for their robotic integration work that has been completed during their partnership with FANUC over the last two decades. They were the only North American integrator to receive this prestigious award.
“We are not only in the business of robotics, we are in the business of systems integration and doing that very well using the intelligent products that FANUC offers,” said Patty. “The work that we have done with companies like Trane, Honda, FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) – combined with our continuous improvement over the years – is what elevated us to earn both of these awards.”
