Visual Components Unveils Omniverse-powered Virtual Application at NVIDIA GTC DC

Visual Components has launched the new Omni Experience add-on with NVIDIA, announced at the NVIDIA GTC global conference in Washington, D.C. The integration, set for release in early 2026, enhances the Visual Components simulation platform through a viewport built on NVIDIA Omniverse’s API.
The viewport delivers real-time, high-fidelity rendering. Any update made in the simulation appears instantly with accurate lighting and material detail. As a result, manufacturers and system integrators can explore factory layouts with more realism and clarity. They can continue using their existing workflows without rebuilding models, installing new software, or changing processes. Geometry, structure, and materials transfer automatically into the Omniverse-powered display.
This add-on gives users a more immersive and effective way to visualize and present layouts. It also builds a solid base for future digital twin applications, helping simulation models mirror real-world factory conditions with precision.
“This project is just the beginning of our collaboration with NVIDIA,” said Juha Renfors, Vice President of Product Management at Visual Components. “By developing our application with NVIDIA Omniverse APIs, we’ve built a strong foundation for the next generation of virtual simulation.”
For customers, the Omni Experience improves communication, decision-making, and confidence. Teams can review and present layouts in a shared 3D space that looks realistic, helping both technical and non-technical participants understand design options more clearly.
One of Visual Components’ partners, MiTek, a global construction and engineering firm, previewed the technology ahead of release.
“Visual Components has become an integral part of our machine lifecycle over the past two years,” said Xavier Ficquet, Engineering Manager at MiTek. “With this new add-on, we can train our employees more effectively through virtual simulation, bringing us closer than ever to the experience of using the actual equipment.”
By unveiling the Omni Experience together with NVIDIA at GTC DC, Visual Components highlights its dedication to helping manufacturers evolve from simulation toward realistic digital twin environments. The collaboration sets the stage for future advancements in how factories are designed, validated, and presented.
