Trumpf Selects Hertzler Systems to Enhance Quality Management Control

TRUMPF, the largest manufacturer of fabricating equipment and industrial lasers in North America, was attracted to Hertzler's easy dashboard monitoring.

Hertzler Systems Inc. (Goshen, IN), a leading provider of customized statistical process control systems, has announced that TRUMPF North America has invested in Hertzler’s GainSeeker SPC software to improve quality management of its manufacturing processes.

TRUMPF is the largest manufacturer of fabricating equipment and industrial lasers in North America. It provides innovative, high-quality products and solutions in the areas of sheet metal processing, laser-based production processes, electronic applications and medical technology.

“One of the aspects TRUMPF was most interested was the way our dashboard summarizes and quickly analyzes data from different operations in a simple-to-follow, at-a-glance way that allows them to quickly discern and pinpoint specific problem areas,” said Adrienne DePew, sales agent for Hertzler. “The ease of staying on top of multiple data points at once is a huge time-saving factor when it comes to quality control.”

“The easy data accessibility of the dashboard was a big attraction for us,” confirmed Min Huang, data management engineer for TRUMPF. “The server edition of the dashboard and charting without an additional license was also attractive.”

“The charting tool is easy to use and the dashboard gives us a great visualization of the collected production data, enabling quick and easy reference.”

“It has also been very easy to work with Hertzler’s team,” Huang added. “I’m very satisfied with their customer service.”

“TRUMPF is a huge international company that is on the cutting edge of modern industrial equipment, and we’re very pleased to have been chosen as their SPC provider,” said Evan Miller, president and chief executive officer of Hertzler.

He adds, “This highlights our custom capabilities and ability to provide any size operation with this exceptional, comprehensive and cost-effective management tool.”
