The CoroMill 329, CoroMill 331, CoroMill 327 and CoroMill 328 tools expand the versatility of grooving and slotting applications for a variety of materials in general conditions.

Sandvik Coromant‘s (Fair Lawn, NJ) family of tools dedicated to productive grooving and slitting performance includes additions to the CoroMill 329, CoroMill 331, CoroMill 327 and CoroMill 328 lines of products.

The CoroMill 329 cutter uses CoroCut 2-edge inserts with a strong V-rail clamping interface. Inserts are securely mounted with exceptional stability, allowing speed to be increased with no sacrifice in tolerances or surface quality. CoroMill 329 cutters are available in 4-in and 5-in diameters and offer 0.098 in to 0.157 in grooving width to a maximum 0.709 in depth. Grooving grade GC1125 inserts are recommended as the first choice for use with CoroMill 329, for all materials and general conditions.

The CoroMill 331 offers a direct route to cost-efficient slot milling. Eight-edge inserts are available in exchangeable cassettes. This allows inserts to be changed quickly to reduce downtime. Inserts are available in high performance grades for steel and cast iron.

CoroMill 327 and CoroMill 328 are high-productivity solutions for internal and external grooving and slotting.
