Smith Equipment Receives Recognition for Outstanding Performance as a Supplier
Smith Equipment (Watertown, SD) recently received an Overall Performance Achievement Award from Goodrich Corporation?s Sensors and Integrated Systems business, a leading global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industry.
Smith?s Overall Performance Achievement Award was one of five that the Goodrich team provided to its suppliers during its Annual Supplier Summit on October 9th in Minneapolis, Minn. The team based its selection for the award on three key supplier criteria: on-time delivery, product quality and product cost.
Smith Equipment manufactures nickel housings for the air data sensors Goodrich provides for civilian and military aircraft. Air data sensors provide critical measurements for aircraft flight control and other aircraft systems. The two companies have worked together on these products for nearly 50 years.
