Seco Tools Makes Key Organizational Changes

Seco Tools has appointed a new product marketing manager and promoted several others.

Seco Tools, LLC (Troy, MI) has appointed Todd Miller as its new manager of product marketing and initiated other key organizational changes within the department, including several in-house promotions. Miller brings nine years of experience with Seco to his new position in which he will oversee the product marketing team and work with the company’s sales department to further enhance the Seco customer experience. Miller and his team will support product introductions while working globally on new product testing to ensure customers gain access to the industry’s most advanced tooling as quickly as possible.

“Our goal is to further align product marketing with the sales team to strengthen and grow the company,” said Miller. “But most importantly, we will all work diligently to always provide customers with tooling solutions that match perfectly with their specific operational needs and will boost productivity.”

Previously, Miller was Seco’s manager of rotating products for NAFTA and was responsible for solutions and applications involving face, square shoulder and disc milling tools. As the new manager of product marketing, he succeeds Larry Lefkof who was promoted to national sales director for the company’s Niagara Cutter division.

Among the other key organizational changes at Seco, the company promoted Tim Aydt to product manager of milling, Gary Meyers to product manager of solid carbide and Chad Miller to product manager of turning and advanced materials. Also within the product department, Don Halas will continue as product manager for threading and grooving, Mike Smith as product manager of reaming, boring and EPB and Ed Zerilli as product data specialist. Additionally, Tom White will carry out his current responsibilities as catalog media specialist, but will now be part of the product marketing team.
