Seco Tools Announces Launch of New Website
Seco Tools (Troy, MI) has launched a new North American web address under www.secotools.com/us, in addition to changing the design and navigation of its site to match that of parent company Seco Tools AB (Fagersta, Sweden). This globally-shared re-design was done to ease site useability, and better reflect the company?s international presence, resources and solutions.
In an effort to deliver consistent messages and share a knowledge base built from across the globe, many of the areas on the new Seco North American site are fed from common international pages. The new site has been designed with easy-to-follow tab navigation that allows quick access to areas of interest. In addition to updated technical information and content improvements, new sections have also been added to the site. These include Business Solutions, where visitors can find out the latest information on how to increase productivity and lower costs; and Service and Support, which provides a variety of desktop productivity tools such as a Tool Selection Support guide; and a Cutting Data Calculator. Additionally, the home pages features a link to Seco?s new live online Machining Forum.
