New Horizontal Bending and Straightening Press
Scotchman Industries, a leading U.S. manufacturer of metal fabrication solutions, introduces the HB-31 Horizontal Bending and Straightening Press. This compact, high-performance hydraulic press expands shop capabilities while delivering precision in bending, profiling, and straightening work.
Engineered for both versatility and efficiency, the HB-31 combines hydraulic strength with intuitive control. Its compact footprint of just 45”W x 30”D x 43”H saves space while delivering 31 U.S. tons of force through a 5.3 HP motor and 7.5” stroke. As a result, fabricators can handle demanding applications without sacrificing floor space.
The NC control system makes operation simple and repeatable. Operators can set and monitor piston stroke values, store up to 100 custom work cycles, and run up to six steps per cycle. In addition, a manual or automatic mode selector and electric foot pedals give precise piston movement for greater control and safety.
Each HB-31 press comes with a full tooling package that includes a V-matrix die, matching V-die, resistance pins, and a manual back gauge. This setup helps users start working immediately and adapt quickly to different jobs.
