An overview of the company and its organization, products, services and capabilities.

Scienscope was founded in 1995 to provide reliable solutions for general purpose optical and video inspection for the SMT and PCB industries.

During the last 17 years Scienscope has advanced to become a complete inspection solution provider offering microscopes, measurement systems, machine vision and x-ray. Scienscope X-ray products now feature five machine platforms to meet the demands for inspection of SMT/PCB’s, medical devices, aluminum and plastic diecasting and automotive applications.

Scienscope x-ray systems include a scienscope range of 90kv to 160kv micro-focus x-ray tubes (down to 1 micron focal spot), mega pixel digital flat panel image detectors (4096 shades of grey), fully programmable CNC motion control providing up to 8 axis manipulation and inspection areas up to 23 inch x 23 inch.

All five platforms include the intuitive Capture X inspection and measurement software suite featuring point and click navigation along with point and click CNC programming. Standard features of the Capture X software suite include auto BGA analysis and reporting; this allows an operator to quickly inspect and print reports for BGA bridging, cold solder joints, circularity and percentage of voids based upon user programmable tolerances.

Scienscope offers free online demo’s of the machine vision systems, measurement systems and x-ray systems. Call Scienscope today to talk to one of our product specialists and to schedule your online demo.
