Sandvik Coromant Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary of Pontiac Expansion
Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, NJ) recently celebrated the 1-year anniversary of the expansion of its facility in Pontiac, Michigan. Housing the Advanced Center for Engineered Solutions (ACES), along with personnel in Original Tooling Services (OTS), training, customer service, and marketing, the Pontiac facility grew to 14,000 sq. ft. and currently maintains 42 employees.
ACES works closely with customers on major projects in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The division provides comprehensive project management, developing solutions from inception to implementation. To accomplish this, ACES partners closely with customers and brings together personnel from OTS, sales, service and support.
In addition to ACES, the Pontiac facility includes training capabilities and a customer service call center that provides complementary support to Sandvik Coromant?s head office in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. OTS, a division that aids manufacturers in integrating new machine tools, also maintains a presence in the Pontiac facility.
