Sandvik Coromant Announces Productivity Center Open House
Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, NJ) has established a new Productivity Center in Schaumburg, IL.
Through a balance of theory-based training courses, technical seminars and hands-on machine demonstrations, Sandvik Coromant Productivity Centers educate customers in methods for improving efficiency and productivity in metalcutting. Each facility also provides the support necessary to achieve maximum performance from all Sandvik Coromant products.
In an effort to keep each customer's success in focus, Sandvik Coromant equipped the Schaumburg facility with standard, Capto-integrated, multi-tasking, high-speed and light- and heavy-duty machines. The wide variety of machines will enable customers to receive insight and instruction on operations that specifically apply to their own fields of manufacturing.
On November 13, 2008, Sandvik Coromant will host an Open House at the Schaumburg facility, the second of its kind in the United States and the fourth in North America. The event will take place from 11:00 am ? 7:00 pm, and feature tours of the state-of-the-art training and conference center, as well as technical discussions and live machine demonstrations. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet executives, technical experts and product managers from Sandvik Coromant, as well as industry experts from the machine tool industry.
