Plug, Play, and Perform: Boost Uptime with Robotic Tool Changers
From heavy-duty automotive assembly to high-precision aerospace machining, robotic tool changers minimize downtime and improve worker safety.
One Source Robot Optimization
SCHUNK USA (Morrisville, NC), a global leader in automation technologies, helps your robots do more with the release of its new Robot PLUS portfolio. Robot PLUS offers you more: from the robot wrist to your workpiece, automated tool changers, compensation units, force torque sensors and more enable your shop to optimize your workflow from one source.
CPS is the latest generation of automated tool changing products offered by SCHUNK. Engineered, manufactured, and supported by SCHUNK, CPS offers next-level technology that enables industrial or collaborative robots to automatically change grippers or other end-of-arm tools quickly and precisely. This makes robots more effective and capable with less down time when automating a task requires multiple end effector sizes or technologies.
From a robot wrist to the workpiece being handled, Robot PLUS offers standard components that easily pair together to solve complex problems. No matter the robot size and payload requirements, enhance process reliability and increase throughput with Schunk’s comprehensive offering.
Three-second Magnetic/Vacuum Tool Change

A low-cost solution that minimizes cycle times and boosts efficiency for manufacturers, Industrial Magnetics Inc.’s (Boyne City, MI) RoboMag™ Quick Changer easily integrates with FANUC America’s (Rochester Hills, MI) line of CRX collaborative robots.
Featuring a rapid, three-second magnetic/vacuum tool change, the automated tool changer positively secures different end-of-arm tools for varying applications, maximizing productivity and eliminating the need for manual tool changes.
The RoboMag Quick Changer includes Transporter® Low Profile, which helps it to outperform vacuum cup style and grip style end effectors.
The First Fully Automated Workholding Changeover System

HAINBUCH America Corp. (Germantown, WI) is redefining manufacturing efficiency with its AC (Automated Change) Line. As the industry’s first fully automated system for workholding device changeover, the AC Line delivers a new level of speed, precision, and productivity for modern machining environments.
Manufacturers can now transition between workholding devices seamlessly, dramatically reducing downtime while improving overall process reliability. Beyond device changeover, the AC Line also automates clamping heads (collets) and end-stops, extending its impact across the entire workholding setup. This comprehensive automation ensures repeatable precision while minimizing operator intervention and error.
Designed with usability in mind, the AC Line features an intuitive interface that allows operators to quickly program and adapt to changing production requirements. Its flexible architecture supports a wide range of part geometries, materials, and machining strategies, making it a powerful solution for high-mix, high-demand manufacturing.
Backed by HAINBUCH’s industry-leading support and application expertise, the AC Line integrates seamlessly into existing operations — unlocking faster setups, higher uptime, and greater profitability.
Increase Payload by 25%

The new Quick Changer from OnRobot (Irving, TX) is compatible with all major cobot and light industrial robot brands, allowing robot operators to change tooling on their robot arm in a matter of seconds, eliminating downtime between various processes. The enhanced Quick Changer and Dual Quick Changer now support payloads up to 25 kg (55 lbs.) with higher momentum with a unified interface that delivers consistent experience across all OnRobot products.
The quick tool change is facilitated by a patented, reliable and easy-to-use locking mechanism, enabling easy and fast tool changing in less than 5 seconds, letting even unexperienced operators change the robot’s end-of-arm-tooling and use robotic tooling interchangeably with existing robots. The Dual Quick Changer offers the same flexibility and fast tool changing as the regular Quick Changer — but enables manufacturers to equip their robot with two end-of-arm tooling attachments simultaneously for maximum efficiency. By equipping a robotic arm with two end effectors, the use of two tools in a single cycle is enabled, improving productivity by 50% or more, a feature ideal for CNC machine tending to speed up cycle time.
The Dual Quick Changer comes with a low built-in height and weight and can be used on any robot arm, drone, or other equipment with an ISO-9409-1 flange.
