Prima Power’s 3D laser product family includes four models, each addressing specific production requirements. The new Laser Core Next adds to its 3D laser cutting range.

Prima Power, a global leader in sheet metal working manufacturing solutions, presents Laser Next Core, the newest addition to its 3D laser cutting range. Prima Power Laser Next Core embodies the brand’s decades of experience in 3D laser cutting, offering minimum cost-per-part with best-in-class versatility and a reduced footprint. Compact, cost-effective, and easy to use, it is designed for job shops and flexible manufacturing environments seeking maximum efficiency, fast ROI, and precision across variable production mixes.

Prima Power Laser Next Core 3D laser cutting machine for flexible production environments
The new Laser Next Core 3D laser cutting machine offers minimum cost per part, the best versatility in its category, and a reduced footprint.

With axis strokes of 3,160 x 2,100 x 750 mm, the Laser Next Core handles parts of any size and geometry with consistent quality even during frequent production changeovers. It delivers outstanding performance in both 2D and 3D cutting, with optional welding applications for even greater flexibility. Ideal for limited batch sizes under 1,000 parts, its quick setup and one-click programming ensure minimal downtime and higher throughput.

The Prima Power Laser Next Core achieves up to 25% lower cost-per-part than comparable market systems, thanks to optimized fixed and running costs, reduced labor input, and minimal maintenance. Gas and power consumption are significantly reduced, and its working volume is 58% larger within a footprint 25% smaller than others in its class. The machine features an intuitive graphical HMI, automatic head-offset compensation, and a local head axis system that simplifies high-performance 3D cutting.

To further enhance productivity, the Laser Next Core integrates advanced solutions such as maintenance-free linear drives, direct motors for high dynamics, and dual-position height-adjustable tables for ergonomic part handling. An optional welding head extends its application range to lap and butt joints, while safe-cutting nozzles reduce nitrogen consumption by up to 30%.

With the addition of Laser Next Core, Prima Power’s 3D laser lineup now includes four models tailored for different production environments. The Laser Next Core 2131 offers ultimate flexibility and minimal cost-per-part; the Laser Next 2141 excels in larger parts and versatile applications; the Laser Next 1530 and 2130 focus on continuous high-volume production; and the flagship Giga Laser Next provides unmatched performance for large-scale manufacturing. Together, they represent a complete solution portfolio from job shops to OEMs.

Aligned with Prima Power’s Evolve by Integration strategy, all 3D laser machines can be integrated into turnkey automated systems via the in-house Robotics Integration Unit. This modular platform seamlessly coordinates cutting, handling, loading, and quality checks, ensuring adaptive production scalability and long-term efficiency.
