In Booth N1437, Danatronics Corporation (Danvers, MA) will display their new ECHO FD portable, digital ultrasonic flaw detector that is an extremely affordable, lightweight, easy to use handheld ultrasonic flaw detector equipped with a 3.5 in sunlight readable color display, Peak Memory, two independent gates, DAC curves, AWS software and standard 2 GB of micro-SD card memory. The newest features on the ECHO FD include encoded B-scan, grid view and supervisor lock, as well as a floating and tracking gate option. ECHO FD can also be upgraded remotely to add either corrosion or precision thickness gage modes or both. It has a fast 60 Hz display update rate and on-board rechargeable battery in a custom case that is designed for IP67 with rubber boot and stand. ECHO FD can use a wide variety of transducers, from 1 MHz to 20 MHz in contact, delay line, duals, immersion and angle beam for flaw detection applications.
