Platinum Tooling Announces New Manufacturers’ Representative Group
Platinum Tooling, the importer and master distributor of live tools, angle heads, Swiss machine products, knurling tools and marking tools manufactured by various international suppliers, has appointed a new sales representative firm. Located in Conway, South Carolina, Sellers Marketing offers cutting tools, workholding and toolholding solutions throughout the Southeastern United States.
Founded in 2014 as a technical firm with engineers from job shops, Sellers Marketing has expanded through the addition of Application Sales Engineers. Team members include David Sellers, who manages key accounts and Georgia; John Huggins, serving Western North Carolina and Tennessee; Justin Sellers, covering Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia; Lee Sellers, responsible for Northeastern Georgia, Eastern North Carolina and Eastern South Carolina; and John Paquette, serving Alabama.
David Sellers explained that the company supports a broad range of industries throughout the Southeast. According to Sellers, the region includes a diverse manufacturing base with a strong concentration of job shops and privately owned production facilities.
Regarding customer engagement, Sellers noted that the company works throughout the manufacturing channel, supporting OEMs, distributors and end users with technical tooling solutions. The firm’s engineering-focused approach helps manufacturers identify solutions for machining, tooling and production efficiency challenges.
