The Pickit 4.0 release introduces a simpler, more cost-effective licensing model with four clearly defined options tailored to different automation needs. Each license delivers a streamlined user experience with purpose-built functionality, ensuring customers only pay for what they need. The new licenses include Pickit Find for single-part location in vision-guided operations, Pickit Lite for semi-structured picking of stacked or layered parts, Pickit Plus for robust bin picking of randomly oriented parts, and Pickit Depal for depalletizing layered goods such as boxes or bags.
Increased Performance
Pickit 4.0 delivers a significant leap in performance. New, powerful processors enable detection speeds up to 61% faster than previous generations. These processors include native multi-camera support and an integrated GPU as standard, providing enhanced processing power for demanding automation environments.
The platform also advances Pickit’s camera-agnostic strategy with the introduction of two new high-definition cameras, the S-HD2-C300 and XS-HD2-C100. The XS-HD2-C100 offers up to 0.1 mm robot guidance accuracy, the highest in the Pickit portfolio, making it ideal for small-scale and precision guidance applications.
Future-proof and Robust
Pickit 4.0 introduces a new software core designed to remain current with security fixes and performance improvements. This approach ensures the Pickit system stays protected, stable, and compatible with future technologies. New long-term support schemes provide access to ongoing software updates and maintenance for up to five years, extending system lifespan and reliability. The long-term support options allow customers to tailor coverage to their needs, further improving return on investment.
