Okuma Earns ISO Certification
Okuma America Corporation (Charlotte, NC) has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification by Preferred Registrar Group, Inc. (PRG; Madison Heights, MI), making them the first and currently the only CNC machine tool builder to earn the latest International Organization for Standardization (ISO; Geneva, Switzerland) certification.
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, motivation and implication of top management, process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
