Esco Tools offers an O.D. clamping end prep tool for beveling, facing, and boring highly alloyed, small bore heavy-wall header tubes and water wall boiler tubes. The Esco C-HOG MILLHOG® O.D. Clamping End Prep Tool features a massive clamp that attaches to the outside of the tube, minimizes chatter and vibration, and allows the cutter blade to prep quickly.
Equipped with a ratchet feed which provides over 1 in of stroke, this lightweight tool is ideal for use on hard, small bore heavy-wall tubes with a high percentage of chrome. Designed for use on tubes as small as ½ in O.D., the Esco C-HOG MILLHOG® O.D. Clamping End Prep Tool has a narrow body to fit between 1-1/8 in membrane boiler tubes. Eliminating the need for mandrels and multiple parts, it has a working range of ½ in to 2-1/2 in and uses an easy to change block for changing pipe sizes and has an attached ratchet wrench for fast setup.
