Featuring three welders and a plasma cutter, Forney Industries (Fort Collins, CO) releases a refreshed and enhanced line of equipment crafted for reliability, simplicity, and affordability.

The 220 ST PRO Welder, 220 Multiprocess Welder, 220 AC/DC Welder, and 40 P Plasma Cutter feature an integrated rubber mat to store tools, legs that double as a torch hanger and carrying device, easy-to-operate controls, and 15-ft power cables and torches for an expansive working envelope. Each is backed with a three-year warranty and Forney’s Expert-Tech service line, where customers can speak directly with the engineer who manufactured the machine.

“We included all the features that people want while keeping the user interface and controls simple and easy to use,” says Senior Product and Technical Service Engineer Josh Legoza. “Technology has enabled so many amazing new features and capability, but they generally come with more complicated controls. We want to give welders access to these features without making their machine too complicated.”

The printed circuit board and assembly are completed in the People’s Republic of China, but Forney technicians assemble the rest of the machine with sheet metal, aluminum die cast parts, aluminum extrusion handles and knobs manufactured in Fort Collins.
