NEW SINGLE MITER AUTOMATIC BAND SAW SUITED FOR JOB SHOPS
Hyd-Mech Group Ltd. has released the new SM10CNC single miter, automatic band saw. SM10CNC is another addition to Hyd-Mech?s extensive product line up. This model features a 10 in round or 7 ¾ in x 11 in capacity at 90 deg, 1 in blade, 2.5 hp direct drive inverter blade drive with variable band speed (50-330 sfm), and 60 deg one way mitering. Variable vise pressure is standard.
Best suited for job shops, the SM10CNC is the saw that does it all. The operator has the option to run the SM10CNC in manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic dynamic mode with 1000 job storage. The SM10CNC controller is packed with features and displays blade speed, number of cuts, blade thickness, length of cuts, cutting time, amp meter, blade tension, diagnostics, and other safety message that can be viewed in several languages. The operator is able to choose from four different machine behaviours in automatic cycle while executing jobs from queue. Its continuous cycle will progress from job to job without stopping between each job. The pause sequence cycle will pause between jobs in queue allowing for the operator to change a discharge bin preventing parts from being mixed. Its sequence cycle will pause after cutting the first part of each job allowing the operator the opportunity to inspect the first article prior to proceeding with the rest of the job. Its last cycle, the loop cycle, will execute a single part from multiple jobs. This feature is helpful for cutting complete sets of parts in a particular order. Material multi-indexing is driven by a stepper motor and ball screw assembly. Index material up to 23.5 in in a single stroke! The SM10CNC also features heavy duty hydraulic material clamping vises and a hydraulic positive down feed sawing head. Overhead bundling is available as an option.
