The new ROEMHELD Power Clamp Centric vise is available in both pneumatic and hydraulic versions.

ROEMHELD North America is excited to announce the launch of the new, innovative Power Clamp Centric (PCC), self-centering vise, an advanced solution for precise clamping applications. Available in both pneumatic and hydraulic versions, the PCC combines cutting-edge engineering with versatility to meet the needs of series production for precision workpieces.

Ideal for Aerospace and Medical Manufacturers

Designed to handle the most demanding tasks, the PCC ensures positioning and clamping with an impressive centering precision of ±0.005 mm. This makes it ideal for aerospace and medical manufacturers seeking precision in series production. The double-acting cylinder enables both interior and exterior clamping, making it suitable for a wide range of workpieces and fixture setups.

Compatible with Most Standard Zero Point Clamping Systems

The PCC is versatile enough to integrate seamlessly into your current setup as it is compatible with most standard zero point clamping systems. Its adaptability ensures that manufacturers can use this vise across multiple configurations, whether for single or multiple clamping fixtures.

Powerful Clamping Force and Compact Design

The innovative block-type design of the PCC allows for a larger clamping piston to be installed from below, resulting in an exceptionally high clamping force, even in the pneumatic version. The piston force is transmitted backlash-free to the base jaws synchronously and concentrically, providing a secure and reliable hold.

Despite its robust performance, the PCC maintains a compact, space-saving design. This makes it an excellent choice for setups where space is limited but high clamping forces and precision are required.

Customizable Features for Enhanced Functionality

To meet the specific needs of various applications, the PCC offers a range of optional features, including:

  • Clamping stroke monitoring for increased control and accuracy
  • Pneumatic contact control for detecting workpiece presence
  • Connection for positive air pressure protection to guard against contaminants
  • Port for central lubrication to prolong the life of the vise
  • Quick-change jaws for faster setup changes
  • RFID chip for improved tracking and data management

Key Advantages

  • High rigidity and low wear due to hardened surfaces
  • Compact design allows for more efficient use of space
  • High clamping force even in pneumatic operation
  • Versatile clamping options for both interior and exterior workpieces
  • Manifold mounting or pipe thread as standard options
  • Professional customer consultation to ensure optimal integration

The Power Clamp Centric, Concentric Vise is designed for manufacturers who demand precision, power, and reliability. With its robust capabilities and customizable options, this new product from ROEMHELD North America will take your production processes to the next level.
