New Capacity Utilization ERP Software Feature
Cetec ERP, a cloud-based enterprise resource planning software company, now offers convenient visibility for the load on work locations and machines through the new Capacity Utilization feature. This capability eliminates the need for manually reviewing all scheduled entries to get a clear understanding of how much load is being placed in various areas of production.
In the Cetec ERP software, labor plans are entered for workorders that contain estimated time required for each location/machine. These machines then have a Daily Set Capacity, as dictated by the Capacity Calendar. As orders are scheduled for production, machine capacity is consumed against the Daily Set Capacity.
The easy-to-read Cetec ERP Capacity Utilization report shows all work locations with respective total capacity in minutes, work scheduled, and what is remaining. The report can be viewed by day, week, or month to give helpful analytical data for machines that may be at or over capacity.
The Capacity Utilization feature provides accurate foresight into production resources available for future orders, and this information can then be used to see how well actual production stacks against planned production.
