Multi-Axis Laser Machining for Touch Factory Environment

The LASERDYNE 430 from Prima Power Laserdyne performs precision cutting, welding and drilling of 3D components that are ideal for the demanding medical device and precision instrumentation industries.

Ths 3-axis to 5-axis system performs precision cutting, welding and drilling of 3D components that are ideal for the demanding medical device and precision instrumentation industries.

Prima Power Laserdyne (Champlin, MN), the world leader in precision multi-axis laser machining systems, offers the LASERDYNE 430 system, a flexible laser machining platform designed for a wide range of high precision applications.

The LASERDYNE 430 is a 3-axis system capable of expansion to 5-axis that is designed for precision cutting, welding and drilling 2- and 3-dimensional components. The system operates at speeds up to 800 ipm in the X, Y, Z axis (0-20 mpm) with bidirectional accuracy of 0.0005 in (12.7 micrometer) throughout the system’s 585 mm x 408 mm x 508 mm work envelope, making it ideal for the demanding process validation requirements and reliability concerns of the medical device and precision instrumentation industries.

This machine can handle the toughest factory environments of the automotive and industrial component domains. It uses the powerful S94P system controller and, with many technically advanced features, provides both programmable flexibility and process capability that includes a full complement of hardware/software features, including automatic focus control™, surface mapping, integral CCTV setup and process monitor, and SPC data acquisition plus many more.

This system is ideal for the toughest applications. For over 30 years, LASERDYNE has been designing, manufacturing and supporting turnkey laser systems, since its first installation in 1982. LDS.SALES@primapower.com, www.primapower.com
