More Throughput Per Spindle for General Machining Work

The MMH 500 horizontal machining center from MAG Automotive comes standard with 60 m/min linear-axis speed and 12,000 rpm direct drive spindle for more machine throughput per spindle and high-speed cutting capabilities.
The MMH 500 horizontal machining center from MAG Automotive comes standard with 60 m/min linear-axis speed and 12,000 rpm direct drive spindle for more machine throughput per spindle and high-speed cutting capabilities. Its high-pressure coolant thru tool/spindle-ready feature provides flexibility to application changes with the ability to have 1,000 psi at a small upgrade cost, and its standard infinite contouring B-axis table delivers higher precision part cutting without having to add this typically expensive option.

For general market applications, the MMH 500 horizontal machining center from MAG Automotive LLC (Sterling Heights, MI) comes standard with 60 m/min linear-axis speed and 12,000 rpm direct drive spindle (optional 15,000 rpm) that results in more machine throughput per spindle and high-speed cutting capabilities. A high-pressure coolant thru tool/spindle-ready feature is also included to provide flexibility to application changes with the ability to have 1,000 psi at a small upgrade cost. The large tool capacity realizes more application possibilities on one machine. A standard infinite contouring B-axis table delivers higher precision part cutting without having to add this typically expensive option. The machine is 480V connection-ready, which requires no isolation transformers and saves the shop valuable floor space and investment cost. Unlike many other horizontal machining centers in the market, the MMH 500 is designed and built in Sterling Heights with North American controls design and safety standards that fully conform to the latest U.S., Canadian, and Mexican safety standards.
