EB Manufacturing Company's K-Column Modular Clamping and Machining System is designed for use on horizontal machining centers. The 400 mm design has a capacity to hold raw blank material up to 3.5 in wide x 14.5 in high, which affords multiple- or single-part machining on the pallet center.
The system utilizes raw material as the actual work holding, allowing for five-sided part machining and eliminating the need to purchase sized blanks. Material costs, set-up times and cycle times, as well as programming times, are, therefore, greatly reduced.
