During DISCOVER, with the INTEGREX i-350S NEO with grinding capability, Mazak will demonstrate how manufacturers can finish parts to exacting tolerances and superior surface finishes with the ability to machine and grind in a single setup.

At DISCOVER 2025, Mazak unveiled the INTEGREX i-350S NEO Multi-Tasking Machine, delivering unmatched versatility, precision, and efficiency. Building on the company’s proven DONE-IN-ONE® concept, this new generation machine combines high-performance turning, milling, and—now for the first time—grinding capabilities in a single setup, ensuring maximum productivity and accuracy.

During the event, Mazak demonstrated how manufacturers can achieve exacting tolerances and superior surface finishes with the ability to machine and grind parts simultaneously. This combination of operations significantly reduces lead times, minimizes handling, and improves overall process reliability—key advantages for competitive manufacturers.

Advanced Automation and Ergonomic Design
The INTEGREX i-NEO Series offers a wide range of automation options tailored to diverse customer requirements. For applications utilizing overhead gantry loaders, unloaders, or bar feed systems, the machines feature a standard front-mounted tool magazine designed for easy operator access and seamless automation integration. Alternatively, users can opt for a rear-mounted magazine or retrofittable automatic front doors with robot interfaces to enable smooth compatibility with floor-mounted robotic systems.

High-Performance Capabilities
Equipped with both a main and secondary turning spindle, the INTEGREX i-350S NEO enables complete DONE-IN-ONE® part production. The main spindle supports a 10-inch chuck and offers a Y-axis stroke of 12 inches (304.8 mm) and X-axis stroke of 27 inches (685.8 mm), accommodating part diameters up to 26.38 inches (670 mm). Both spindles reach speeds of 4,000 rpm, while the milling spindle operates at 12,000 rpm standard (24 hp/22 kW) and 20,000 rpm optionally. The machine handles parts up to 59.80 inches (1519 mm) long with a 1500U-style bed or 98 inches (2489.2 mm) with a 2500U bed.

AI-Powered SmoothAi CNC Control
The i-350S and i-350ST NEO models feature the MAZATROL SmoothAi CNC control, Mazak’s latest AI-driven platform that enhances programming ease, spindle control, and thermal stability. Intelligent features like Solid MAZATROL automatically generate programs from 3D models, while SMOOTH Ai Spindle optimizes spindle speeds to reduce vibration. The Ai Thermal Shield further ensures machining accuracy by learning from environmental variations and compensating for heat-induced deviations.

The SmoothAi control also provides access to MAZATROL TWINS, Mazak’s digital twin software that mirrors real-world machines for more efficient programming and operation. Integrated tools such as SMOOTH Project Manager streamline job setup, and SMOOTH CAM Ai ensures open connectivity with leading CAD/CAM systems.
