Mazak Announces Expansion of Florence, KY Production Facility
Mazak (Florence, KY) has announced significant expansion of the size and capabilities of its manufacturing facility in Florence, KY. The growth will allow for higher levels of efficiency through improved workflow. Scheduled for completion in December 2008, an additional 50,000 sq. ft. of floor space forms the core of the current $3.3 million expansion.
Mazak?s Florence campus currently contains a 362,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant, 69,000 sq. ft. National Technology Center and 62,000 sq. ft. Customer Support and Service Center. With the latest expansion, the company?s Florence facilities will provide 543,000 sq. ft. of operating space.
