Mazak Adds New Technical Center in Texas
Reflecting their commitment to localized customer service and support, Mazak Corporation (Florence, KY) has announced they will open a new second facility in Texas. Joining their existing Southwest Technology Center in Houston, the new Dallas Technical Center will serve the Northern Texas region.
To celebrate the expansion, the company will host an open house event on February 1, 2017, at the new center located at 935 South Kimball Street, Southlake, TX. The event will feature several machine demonstrations along with special guest speakers and tours. “This new center gives us a commanding Texas presence in terms of manufacturing technology and customer support,” explained Dan Janka, the president of Mazak. “Northern Texas manufacturers in the defense, aerospace, medical, automotive, energy and construction industries will especially benefit from our even more readily accessible technical, engineering and applications expertise.”
The approximately 8,000 sq ft facility provides additional space for customer programming classes, machine demonstrations, test cuts and machining system run-offs, as well as regularly scheduled DISCOVER events. With the addition of this new facility, Mazak, along with their Value Inspired Partner (VIP) companies, can quickly deliver some of the most advanced and complete machining systems – Multi-Tasking, full 5-axis, Horizontal and Vertical – to keep Texas customers competitive and productive.
