Company Expands In-stock Range with Lifting Points and Swivel Eyebolts
The Caldwell Group’s Lifting Solutions unit (Rockford, IL) has added to its RUD in-stock range with popular products such as the ACP-Turnado Automatic Center Lifting Point and VRS Swivel Eyebolts — bringing the total number of stocked lifting point styles and sizes to more than 170 SKUs.
The RUD portfolio includes slings and lifting points for the most complex tasks for integration into almost any application. A lifting point is the connection between the lifting gear and the load. It connects the load with the lifting gear both during lifting and rotation as well as during turning and movement of loads. Lifting points include ring lifting lugs, eyebolts, flanges, etc., that the sling is attached to by using hooks, shackles, or other connection elements.

Forklift Operated Trailer Movers Enhance Safety and Efficiency

Sidekick Attachments (Marshall, IN) introduces a full line of forklift operated trailer movers that enhance safety and efficiency when positioning trailers around the lot. With hands free, self-locking operation they allow an operator to move trailers from the safety and convenience of the forklift without chains or pins. Multiple trailer styles supported to provide increased stability and better trailer control.
Wide fork pockets allow easy fork entry and accommodate most fork positions. When forks are lifted, the mover locks into place — providing a guaranteed lock with no moving parts (forks must be properly inserted and not to exceed 48”). Standard mover is supplied with gooseneck trailer hitch, 3-way receiver to fit most trailers, and storage rack for hitch pins, and more, so users can move virtually any trailer or RV. A heavy-duty semi-trailer mover, with integral air compressor, is also available.
