Master Chemical Opens New Manufacturing Plant In Tianjin, China
Master Chemical (Perrysburg, OH) celebrated the start of a new manufacturing plant in Tianjin, China. The opening ceremony for Master Chemical (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was held at the new facility on October 18, 2008. Mr. Joe H. Wright, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Xingfang Lu, Vice President-Asia Business Development, and members of the Tianjin Economic Technology Developing Zone were
among those who spoke at the event.
“Master Chemical has been rewarded with ever increasing demand for its metalworking products and services in China because we have been working very hard to innovate quickly to bring solutions to our customers first. Last year we added a technology center to
increase our ability to formulate quicker and more accurately. Now we are adding another production plant that is double the size of our first plant to meet the increasing demand of our customers,” stated Mr. Lu.
Master Chemical (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. is located about 120 kilometers south of Beijing and about 1000 kilometers north of Master Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. “We think that the growing demand in the Tianjin area is increasing rapidly and the Chinese government is very interested in developing this region. By being located in Tianjin we will be able to better serve our customers’ need for just-in-time delivery,” stated Mr. Wright.
