Machitech Now Offers Lantek Expert Cut Nesting Software on Laser Cutting Machines
Machitech recently announced a strategic Machitech Lantek partnership with Lantek Sheetmetal Solutions, offering Lantek Expert Cut nesting software on all Machitech Fiber PRIME S high-power laser cutting machines and Lantek Flex3D nesting software on all Machitech Fiber TUBE XL tube laser cutting machines.
For Machitech plate and tube laser cutting machine customers, this integration delivers increased productivity through streamlined nesting and advanced cutting path technologies. The partnership also improves cut accuracy and precision, reduces time and cost, and provides better protection of sensitive laser cutting heads from potential damage. The Machitech Lantek partnership applies to Machitech laser plate and tube cutting machines as well as Machitech press brakes.
Machitech’s Fiber PRIME S laser machines combine high-speed 4G acceleration with high-power performance from 12 kW to 60 kW for cutting mild steel up to 4 inches thick. Fabricators rely on these laser cutting machines for 24/7 reliable and efficient operation, rapid processing and high-end performance across heavy-duty applications, supported by responsive customer service. Lantek Expert Cut nesting software provides 2D CAD/CAM automatic, semi-automatic and manual nesting capabilities, along with the Assembly 2 Nest (A2N) 3D importer. This feature enables direct import of common 3D CAD formats and eliminates the need for multiple software platforms.
Machitech’s Fiber TUBE XL laser machines offer 6 kW to 12 kW power capability and cut tube up to 40 feet in length, with diameters ranging from 0.8 inch to 25 inches. Core features include a 3D contour bevel head, adaptive clamping for various profiles, a triple chuck system with zero tail cutting, robust frame designs, adaptive servo-driven supports and intuitive smart controls that now incorporate Lantek Flex3D nesting software. Flex3D enables cutting of angled HSS square and round profiles, as well as smaller H-beams.
