Tecoi USA’s new LS COV Laser Cutting Machine incorporates a gantry that can move the closure independently without having to shift the enclosure. The LS COV Laser Cutting Machine enables manufacturers and fabricators to process small to extra-large parts with high production agility on the same machine while maintaining a small footprint. This design enhances productivity, efficiency and operational safety, while optimizing performance. With Tecoi’s Dual Fiber Process (DFP) and Twin Disk beam split, the LS COV Laser Cutting Machine doubles productivity. It can easily handle material lengths up to 210 feet.
The LS COV Laser Cutting Machine includes several advanced operating features. IMZ®, an intelligent movement Z-axis system, reduces cutting time by up to 30% and allows faster, more accurate positioning of the cutting head. The IMZ system can increase productivity by up to 70% between piercings. SAC® L is a three-dimensional anti-collision system with automatic high-speed resets that improves safety for plasma, oxyfuel and laser torches while ensuring accurate positioning during straight and bevel cutting operations. SPC®, Tecoi’s controlled piercing system, enhances plasma, oxyfuel and laser piercing capacity while increasing maximum cutting thickness and extending consumable life by up to 25% and 30%, respectively. CISCAD®, Tecoi’s proprietary cutting software, integrates seamlessly with plasma, oxyfuel and laser processes for optimized performance.
The LS COV Laser Cutting Machine is highly customizable. It can be configured for straight cutting, bevel cutting and machining, with options for one or two cutting heads depending on production requirements. The system offers format versatility, enabling the processing of small parts and large workpieces within the same station, with the ability to switch operating modes on demand. With parallel operation capability, the LS COV Laser Cutting Machine supports continuous production. One area can perform cutting and unloading while material is prepared in another, reducing downtime and increasing throughput.
