LATEST IN MACHINING CENTERS AND GRINDING MACHINES

Toyoda Machinery offers its HMC, the FH1250SX, featuring a new column and high-torque spindle designed to handle rapid cutting without compromising rigidity.

Toyoda Machinery offers its largest horizontal machining center, the FH1250SX, featuring a new column and high-torque spindle designed to handle rapid cutting without compromising rigidity. The FH1250SX is designed to provide the cutting power of a box way machine with more than 50 percent higher rapid feed rates than a typical box way design.

Toyoda also offers its 550SX HMC, featuring technological advancements that include a compact tool matrix.  This high-performance model has double the driving force in the Y axis, with a ballscrew and motor on each side of the spindle. The compact matrix is a stationary tool storage rack that holds up to 280 tools (40-taper) or 184 tools (50-taper). The compact matrix allows Toyoda HMCs to be tooled up for more part numbers with the added benefit of incredibly fast tool-to-tool times.

Toyoda also offers its FH450S, automated with a 451 tool matrix and a 12-pallet FMS. The FH450S is a fast and powerful HMC, combining speed and rigidity in a compact footprint. The tool matrix and pallet automation system provide for long periods of unmanned production time. Toyoda will showcase another new addition to its horizontal lineup, the FH400J. The FH400J features Toyoda's smallest pallet, designed to handle high-speed applications with a compact footprint.

Highlights of the FV Series include larger table sizes with increased load capacities and increased stroke from previous models. These box way VMCs offer a range of spindle options for high-precision, heavy-cutting applications.
