Absolute Machine Tools, Inc. offers the HB-800, a large HMC ideal for all types of large-part, precision machining. This machine boasts 800 mm pallets, 2,000 ipm rapids, and a 10,000 rpm, 40 hp, 50-taper spindle. This is part of the Tongtai Machine & Tool Co.’s line of machine tools, which includes a full range of HMCs from 400 mm to 1250 mm pallets, an extensive array of CNC milling and tapping centers (standalone or with pallets), high performance VMCs, 5-axis trunnion-type machining centers, and a complete range of standard and multifunction turning centers.

Absolute recently announced this exclusive partnership with Tongtai Machine & Tool Co., Ltd., Kaohsiung County, Taiwan. Absolute will import and distribute Tongtai machine tools through its North American distribution network. Absolute adds the Tongtai line to its other Taiwanese machine tool offerings, including heavy-duty Johnford machining and turning centers, the Hi-Net line of precision high speed machining centers, robust and flexible You Ji vertical turning centers, and Ecoca’s highly productive CNC turning centers.
