Koma Precision Appoints Regional Manager for Mexico

Arturo Vazquez will focus on growing business in automotive, aerospace, agriculture, construction, fluids control, energy, mining, oil, and mold and die.

Koma Precision, Inc. (East Windsor, CT), has appointed Arturo Vazquez as their regional sales manager for Mexico, effective March 1, 2015. He will be responsible for all sales activities in Mexico. This position was previously held by Fernando Dominguez.

In his new role, Vazquez will focus on new business development for machine tooling accessories in key manufacturing sectors including automotive, aerospace, agriculture, construction, fluids control, energy, mining, oil, and mold and die in Mexico. He has previously served as the Service Manager for Koma Precision Mexico for the past 15 months.

According to Barry Agosti, the president of Koma Precision, “Arturo’s appointment comes at a time when we are significantly concentrating sales and business development efforts in targeted Mexican territories. His familiarity with machine tooling accessories and processes and market knowledge will certainly prove to be beneficial as we further penetrate into the Mexican marketplace.”

Vazquez stated, “I am excited to spearhead our Mexican operations. I am looking forward to using my extensive sales engineering experience to build our business in my region.” He is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in areas like advanced manufacturing, project management, plant operations, sales and maintenance services. He has substantial experience in the automotive industry, having served in the Chrysler de México Toluca Engine Plant for two decades. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electromechanical engineering.
