Ken-Mac Metals Installs Red Bud Precision Multi-Blanking Line
Red Bud Industries (Red Bud, IL) announced that Ken-Mac Metals, a division of ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, recently installed a Red Bud Industries? Precision Multi-Blanking Line at their Kansas City, MO service center. The line will be used to process stainless steel, aluminum, and prepainted materials.
Featured in the line are Red Bud?s Precision Grip Feed System and CNC Programmable Slitter. This combination of machines gives Ken-Mac Metals the capability of producing blanks with width and length tolerances of + .005 in (.127 mm). The new line is capable of processing coils up to 50,000 lb (22,680 kg) at widths up to 72 in (1829 mm) and thicknesses up to .135 in (3.43 mm). The new line consists of a Coil Stage & Load System, Uncoiler, Peeler Breaker, Crop Shear, Herr-Voss 6 Hi Leveler, ?Pop Up? Flatness Inspection Table, PVC/Paper Applicator, ?Hands Free? Thread System, Dual Motor Grip Feed, CNC Programmable Slitter, Scrap Winders, Shear, Combination Drop/Strip Stacker, Automatically Lowering Stack Table, and End Discharge Rollouts.
