A patented segmented filtration design offers unique advantages over conventional cartridges. Self-sealing PTFE membranes with a 0.1 or 0.2 micron retention efficiency for air and gas are sandwiched between perforated 304 stainless steel segments within a 304 stainless steel housing. Air or gas flows into the openings on the outside of each segment disc and passes through the filter and into an adjacent disc. Filtered air/gas exits through the opening at the center of the cartridge, free of contaminants. 

The filters are ideal for bulk filtration or point of use filtration of air or gas in processing industries such as electronics, plating, magnetic media, and wherever submicron contamination is a concern.
