Industrial Magnetics, Inc. (Boyne City, MI) is pleased to announce that employee Brian Hater will be moving into the role of regional manager for the Great Lakes states. In his new role, Brian will be joining existing IMI regional managers in offering support to customers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Brian earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with a strong focus in facilities management systems. Since 2008, he has served as an IMI tramp metal product specialist for magnetic separation applications, helping customers to improve their product purity and protect their processing equipment from damage in industries such as food, chemical, plastics, feed and grain and mining.

IMI’s president, Dennis O’Leary, states, “Out in the field, Brian’s depth of knowledge in both magnetic products and applications will be a great benefit to our customers as he’s assessing and recommending the right product for the job.”

As an IMI regional manager, Hater will also provide support for magnetic applications involving material handling. Brian adds, “I’ve enjoyed working inside at IMI for the last seven years. I’m very excited to take on this new challenge. I look forward to building existing business relationships and helping to establish new relationships as we grow our company.”
