In-Die Tapping of AHSS Material and More

(Canton, MI), a world leader in in-die tapping systems who exclusively uses Jarvis taps on their in-die tapping machines in the U.S. These tailor-made tapping machines, with multi-tap and high output, are used in the automotive industry for oil filters, lock parts and car seat frames. Jarvis taps are the preferred oil filter plate tap, not only with Pronic, but across the entire industry: an astounding 75 percent of all oil filter plates are tapped with a Jarvis tool. Jarvis works directly with machine builders to design exclusive high-performance taps using a number of technologies they have developed to address current and future production requirements. For example, during the show they will display tooling they have specifically developed for an AHSS application.
