Hydro Aluminum Adds Capacity
Hydro Aluminum's (Linthicum, MD) Extrusion Americas unit expanded its drawn-tube manufacturing by adding two custom-made draw benches at its plant in St. Augustine, FL.
The benches feature quick-loading mechanisms that allow for continuous output, which provides a significant increase in total capacity. The benches also improve the finish quality of bright draws, which are commonly used in applications such as lawn and garden equipment, recreational vehicles, and boats and marine accessories.
Drawn aluminum tube displays exceptional strength and can be produced to extremely precise tolerances. It is used in virtually all product manufacturing sectors, including recreational and home leisure products, automotive parts, electronics, healthcare products and industrial equipment.
