HYD-MECH GROUP LTD.

Hyd-Mech has the largest selection of heavy-duty industrial band saws and material handling solutions available in the market.

CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF SUCCESS
In 1966, Stan Jasinski emigrated from Europe to Canada with his family. With an Engineering degree in tow, Stan had dreams of starting his own business.

In 1978, Stan went into business for himself when he incorporated Hyd-Mech Engineering in Woodstock, Ontario. Hyd-Mech Engineering focused on developing and producing hydraulic equipment, initially for the forestry industry.

In 1980, Stan designed a mitering band saw capable of cutting through metal. Within a few months, machine dealers and business associates demonstrated great interest in purchasing his saw. This interest prompted Stan to transition into the metal cutting band saw industry.

Stan realized instant success with Hyd-Mech saws; generating sales of $80,000 in 1980. By 1990, Hyd-Mech had grown to surpass the $10 million mark – solidifying their place in the band saw market.

Throughout the years Hyd-Mech acquired manufacturing plants in Ontario, Texas, Colorado, Arkansas, and England. Currently Hyd-Mech has manufacturing plants in Woodstock, Ontario and Conway, Arkansas.

In November 2005, Hyd-Mech announced their launch into the cold saw market. Building on their already extensive line of saws, Hyd-Mech now offered a complete line of cold saws to the North American metal cutting industry.

Mep S.p.A., a leading manufacturer of circular saws and small to medium mitering band saws in the European market, purchased the majority of interest in Hyd-Mech Group Ltd. at the end of 2005. By the end of 2007, Mep S.p.A. had acquired full ownership. The joining of these two companies makes them one of the largest producers of sawing machines in the world.

Hyd-Mech Group Ltd. has the largest selection of industrial band saws available in the market. They are internationally recognized as a world leader in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty band saws and material handling solutions. Hyd-Mech would like to thank all of their employees, dealers, and customers for their continued success throughout the past 30 years.
