The Hydro-Jet allows small business owners the ability to manage deadlines and quality control by bringing outsourced work in-house. This affordable and versatile waterjet cutting solution offers a compact design and cuts virtually any type of material.
Equipped with a software package for quick programming and an integrated PC control with graphical user interface, the Knuth waterjet technology features a cold-cutting process to ensure distortion-free fabrication. This pure-water and abrasive cutting equipment ensures precise cuts without any heat affected zone. Outfitted with a working area of 60 in by 24 in along with positioning accuracy on the X axis of + or – .001 in/ft and Y axis of + or – .007in/ft, this waterjet allows for complex contour cuts and extremely small kerf widths for optimum material utilization and seamless nesting. Designed to reduce material costs and preserve raw material resources, the Knuth waterjet features a maximum feed speed of 160 in/min with a repeatability of .007 in/ft. Plus, this universal tool comes complete with an integrated, high-pressure, 10 hp pump.
