Woodstock International, Inc. (Bellingham, WA ) introduced the Shop Fox® Model W1770 21-in 5-hp Heavy-Duty Bandsaw with Foot Brake. The Shop Fox features a 5 hp, 220V 1725-RPM motor, quick-stopping emergency foot brake, geared table-tilting mechanism with positive lock for extra table stability. The unit is built with a heavy-duty cast iron fence with removable 6 in extruded aluminum resaw fence attachment, and double upper and lower ball bearing guides. The Shop Fox accepts blades from 1⁄4 in to 13⁄8 in.
