Gear Motions Appoints Two Executives

Dan Bartelli is now the director of operations for their Nixon Gear Division and Anna Pastore is their new corporate controller.
<b>Dan Bartelli, Nixon Gear Division<br></b> As the director of operations, he is now responsible for all operations in the division, including manufacturing, quality, and engineering. He is an integral part of the management team, providing leadership and direction to the entire team.

Nixon Gear (Syracuse, NY), a division of Gear Motions Inc. (Buffalo, NY), announced that long-time employee Dan Bartelli has been promoted to the director of operations. A 30-year employee, he began his career in 1988 as a machinist that distinguished himself as a quick learner and hard worker. He worked in a number of departments before being promoted to lead machinist. From the shop, Bartelli moved to customer service and demonstrated a natural talent for outstanding customer care, establishing skills for scheduling and planning before being promoted to master scheduler. In 2010 he was promoted to manufacturing manager and now to his new role, where is responsible for all Nixon Gear Division operations, including manufacturing, quality, and engineering.

Bartelli is an integral part of the management team, providing leadership and direction to the entire team. With his guidance, they will continue to deliver high quality products, meeting and exceeding customer requirements and industry standards.

Anna Pastore recently joined Gear Motions as their corporate controller. She brings a positive attitude and many years of finance and accounting experience to the team. She graduated with an MBA from Chapman University and received an undergraduate degree from Lemoyne College. She previously served as the director of finance for Cascade & Maverik Lacrosse and as the vice president of finance of the produce and technology division at Agway. Pastore is married with two grown sons, a beloved dog and also serves on the board of the HumaneCNY animal shelter. She says that she is looking forward to using her experience and enthusiasm to grow the accounting department, and help bring the company to the next level.
