FINISH THE EDGES OF CHAMFERS, BEVELS AND DEBURRING
The Dayton multi-functional edge-finishing machines are powerful and easy to operate. They are now available from Grainger Industrial Supply. Easily adjustable, the machines manage edge finishing jobs of chamfering, beveling and deburring on flats and squares of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, composites and plastics. They are also ideal for fast, simple beveling of all standard weld joints.
The #2KVZ6 model bench edge-finishing machine has a cast iron body with a hardened ground back plate. It will handle parts as thin as 3/16 in. The machine comes with 7 in abrasive flap wheel and the bevel angle is fixed at 45 deg.
The #2KVZ7 bench variable-angle finishing machine has an adjustable-angle feature that allows the operator to vary the bevel angle from 15 deg to 45 deg with the simple turn of a handle. The V-table is hardened and ground for long life. This unit uses a 3-in milling cutter with six standard replaceable carbide inserts.
The #2KVZ8 model bench edge-grinding machine is designed for use on all metals and composite material but is especially effective on tool steels and hardened parts. The bevel angle is fixed at 45 deg. The table and back plate are hardened and ground for smooth feeding and long life. This unit uses a special cup style grinding wheel.
