Fast Trak Metal Fabrication Successfully Commissions new Tube and Sheet Laser
BLM GROUP USA, a global leader in the manufacture of tube and flat sheet processing solutions, is pleased to announce the successful commissioning of its LC5 Combination Tube and Sheet Laser by Fast Trak Metal Fabrication (FTMF).
The contract manufacturer, located in Fresno, Calif., doubled its footprint to 52,000 square feet of manufacturing space and has reduced processing time by 50% with the new 10-kW hybrid machine compared to its existing 4kW CO2 machines. FTMF now has the capacity to cut tube, pipe and plate up to 1-1/8” for steel, 1-1/2” for stainless steel, and 1-3/8” aluminum and has expanded its customer base with tube laser service to the automotive aftermarket and agriculture industries.

In addition to gaining increased cutting capacity, FTMF can process high volume flat sheet laser cutting projects more efficiently with the addition of automatic material loader/unloader.
The LC5 Combination Tube and Sheet Laser offers immediate switchover from tube to sheet without the need to reconfigure the machine and can effectively process multiple material types and thicknesses.
