Booth A-2541: Cloud-based KeyedIn Manufacturing 5.06 for ERP from KeyedIn gives small and mid-sized job shops even more visibility to issues requiring immediate attention through standard role-based dashboards and workbenches that reduce redundancy and streamline key business processes.

In Booth A-2541, KeyedIn Manufacturing (Bloomington, MN) will display KeyedIn Manufacturing 5.06 for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), the latest release of their cloud-based Manufacturing ERP system that delivers increased functionality for custom, make-to-order small and mid-sized shops by allowing them to further streamline key front-office manufacturing management processes. Through standard role-based dashboards and workbenches, users now have even more visibility to issues requiring immediate attention. “What manufacturers really need are systems that reduce redundancy and streamline key business processes,” said Dave Lechleitner, the director of product marketing for KeyedIn. “We help them by providing the technology solutions to better service their customers at a reduced cost and with scalability for the future. This latest ERP release means shops can maximize their limited resources and be well-positioned for growth.” KeyedIn Manufacturing 5.06 is now available and was provided automatically to all current customers.

KeyedIn is also migrating their hosting infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. “Moving to Microsoft Azure is huge for our users because it allows them to leverage a world-class secure computing environment with the benefits of a true cloud platform,” added Kevin Hurley, the chief technology officer for KeyedIn. “Microsoft Azure is a platform that will scale with our users and our software, as well as being aligned with our technology.” Besides migrating to Microsoft Azure and deploying dashboards and workbenches, release 5.06 also features:

  • Back flushing material and labor to reduce the cost and effort for managing low cost material or labor.
  • Product templates and operation standards to reduce the time to create new estimates or release new work to the shop floor for parts similar (but not the same) as previous work.
  • Creation of packing lists from the shop floor application.
  • Employee supervisor visibility to employee information from the shop floor application.
