ECONOMICAL BRIDGEPORT VMC WITH ADVANCED CONTROLS
The Hardinge Inc. (Elmira, NY) Bridgeport GX-1000 40 in x 21 in vertical machining center has been designed with the Okuma OSP-P200 control, drives, motors and encoders. The OSP-P200 is a true open-architecture Windows-based CNC control enabling a user to take advantage of industry standard and off]the]shelf plug and play devices by using the onboard Ethernet or USB slots, and because of its open architecture almost any software application can be installed. In addition to 3rd party software, data and communications between the machine and control are easy to exploit with the documented API set which comes at no additional cost to customers. Users frequently integrate OSP controlled machines with enterprise manufacturing information systems. The OSP control comes standard with a 15-in LCD touch screen, 512 MB of RAM, a 40 GB hard drive and runs the Windows operating system.
